  • Credit by Demonstrated Mastery

    Credit by Demonstrated Mastery

Credit By Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) is the process in which a student earns course credit by demonstrating mastery in the course content without taking the class. This is a multi-step process. In Phase One, students must take a comprehensive exam, score 90% or above to demonstrate mastery before they can proceed to Phase Two. In Phase Two, the student must produce an artifact, which includes a career link, that further demonstrates mastery of the curriculum. The deadline for submitting an application to challenge a course is June 16. Applications can be found electronically on the district webpage under the AIG Department or arrange a time to pick up a paper copy from your school site. If you are interested or have further questions, please contact your school counselor.
