National Beta Clubs (elementary, middle, and high school): The Beta community recognizes high academic achievement, rewards and nurtures worthy character, fosters leadership skills, and encourages service to others. Students participate in leadership summits and state and national conventions.

The Governor's School of North Carolina is a four-week summer residential program for intellectually gifted high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses on each of two campuses. The curriculum focuses on exploring the most recent ideas and concepts in each discipline, without involving credit, tests, or grades.

  • Durham, ECSU, & UNCP campuses
  • No cost; however, application, transcript, and evaluation required
