AIG Mission Statement:  

Hertford County Schools AIG mission is to discover, nurture, and develop the potential of academically and intellectually gifted students while providing a myriad of professional development for teachers and a sense of community among involved stakeholders.

Hertford County Schools AIG mission is developing and empowering all AIG students to become leaders in our changing society.

Article 9B, Academically or Intellectually Gifted Students (N.C.G.S. ...Article 9B provides a state definition for Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG) students and requires school districts to develop three-year plans with specific components that articulate how gifted learners will be identified and served.
