Human Resources

The Human Resources Department is dedicated to recruiting and retaining highly effective staff who are passionate about the success of all students.  In addition, we are dedicated to supporting the mission, vision and core values of Hertford County Public Schools and providing service and support to all stakeholders.

Our district employs approximately 550 people, including teachers, support staff, administrators and classified staff who provide services to more than 2,400 students.

Our goal is to provide excellent, accurate, timely and courteous service to all of our employees, and we strive to foster a positive, caring work environment where everyone is respected.
