Employee Assistance Program

Hertford County Public Schools provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to staff. The EAP is a voluntary, confidential, work-based program that offers free support to employees experiencing personal or work-related challenges.

Through this program, employees have access to services such as:

  • Short-term counseling and emotional support

  • Referrals to specialized professionals and community resources

  • Guidance on a variety of issues, including stress, grief, family concerns, substance abuse, financial difficulties, and legal matters

 

The goal of the EAP is to promote overall well-being by offering help before problems interfere with work or personal life. By supporting the health and wellness of our staff, the program contributes to increased productivity, a positive work environment, and a healthier, happier workforce.
