Ms. Riddick, a native of Hertford County, has had the pleasure of working for Hertford County Public Schools for the last 15 years.  She has served as a Biology teacher for 8 years and Assistant Principal for 3 years at Hertford County High School.  September 16, 2019 she began her new role as Principal of Ahoskie Elementary School.  

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Master of Science in Biology and a Master of School Administration from the illustrious Elizabeth City State University.  

Ms. Riddick believes, with intentional instruction, all children can grow and be successful.
