MISSION:
The mission of the Hertford County Schools Child Nutrition is to provide high quality, nutritious, appealing meals at an affordable price in a pleasant environment to all students of Hertford County Schools while maintaining the financial stability of the program.
VISION:
Wholesome meals and nutrition education are available to all children of Hertford County Schools. Our commitment and dedication is to the students, parents, faculty, and staff. Our chief objective is to provide every student with nutritious meals in conjunction with hospitable service in a clean environment.
The Child Nutrition Program is led by a professional group of well qualified and trained personnel committed to serving healthy nutritious meals as set forth by the National School Lunch Program and the National School Breakfast Program, along with the special milk program, Afterschool snack program, and the Seamless Summer Option Program.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
