Roanoke-Chowan Community College began its journey to provide advanced academics in 1967. During our tenure of providing higher education training, many leaders have contributed to the success our institution currently enjoys.
Our institution continuously seeks to implement new and innovative programs of study designed to enhance entrepreneurship opportunities, vocational and technical training, professional development, and academia transferability. Such accomplishments are achieved through the dedication, tenacity, and training skills of faculty and staff. All courses are developed with rigorous content aimed to redefine the scholastic comprehension and execution of lectured based material. As a result of our innovation and unique instructional methodologies, we have received astonishing reviews and accolades for our Fine Arts Programs. Such programs include the native Clay Pottery Program which has earned statewide recognition.
