Students entering 7th grade in the fall of 2018 will need immunizations (booster shots)
Students entering 7th for the fall of 2018 will need the following immunizations (booster shots):
Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis
A booster dose of tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis (Tdap) vaccine is required for individuals who have not previously received it and are entering the seventh grade or by 12 years of age, whichever comes first.
One dose is required for individuals entering the seventh grade or by 12 years of age, whichever comes first
Immunizations may be received from a family physician or from the local health department.
Parents will have 30 days from the first day of school to provide the required up-to-date immunization record for their child. If proof is not provided by the end of the 30 day calendar period, the child will be suspended from school until parents provide proof of immunization as required by law.
