Dr. Lyndsay Britt Named HCPS District Principal of the Year for 2023/2024

HCPS proudly announces that Dr. Lyndsay Britt has been named the District Principal of the Year for 2023-2024. This prestigious award recognizes Dr. Britt's exceptional leadership skills, commitment to student achievement, and unwavering dedication to her school community.

Dr. Britt has served as the principal of Hertford County Early College High School for six years. During her tenure, she has transformed the school into a thriving learning community known for its academic excellence, supportive culture, and commitment to equity and inclusion.

Under Dr. Britt's leadership, HCECHS has achieved impressive academic gains and has become a model for other schools in the district. She has worked tirelessly to provide her students with high-quality instruction, to support her teachers' professional growth, and to engage parents and community members in the school's mission.
