HCPS Announces Summer Employment Opportunities for 2023
Hertford County Public Schools is excited to announce its 2023 Summer Employment Program. The program offers several employment opportunities for individuals interested in working with students and supporting the district's educational mission.
The district will be offering several programs during the summer, including Read to Achieve Camp for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade students, 3rd Grade Math Camp, 4th and 5th Grade Reading, Math, and Science Camp, and 6-12 Reading, Math, and Science Camp. In addition, HCPS will also offer a 4-12 Summer Enrichment Camp at Chowan University in partnership with HCPS.
The program locations, dates, times and pay amounts are listed below:
Read to Achieve Camp for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade Students
Location: BPS
Dates: June 13-30
Time: 8:00-3:00 Students / 7:30-3:30 Teachers
Pay Amount: Hourly Rate (Daily rate of pay)
3rd Grade Math Camp
Location: BPS
Dates: June 8-12
Time: 8:00-1:00 Students / 7:30-2:30 Teachers
Pay Amount: Hourly Rate (Daily rate of pay)
4th and 5th Grade Reading, Math, and Science Camp
Location: BPS
Dates: June 12-23
Time: 8:00-1:00
Pay Amount: Hourly Rate (Daily rate of pay)
6-12 Reading, Math, and Science Camp
Location: HCHS
Dates: June 12-23
Time: 8:00-1:00
Pay Amount: Hourly Rate (Daily rate of pay)
9-12 Math 1, English 2, Math 3, and Biology Camp
Location: HCHS
Dates: June 12-23
Time: 8:00-1:00
Pay Amount: Hourly Rate (Daily rate of pay)
Grade 4-12 Summer Enrichment Camps
Location: Chowan University
Dates: July 10th-14th
Time: 9am-1pm
Pay Amount: $30 per hour Certified / $15 per hour Classified
Interested individuals can sign up for the summer employment opportunities by filling out the attached Google Form.
