For assistance helping our parents meet their child’s immunizations and health assessment requirement needs, we have reached out to both the local health department and Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center’s School Based Health Clinic at Hertford County Middle School.

If you are unable to get your child in to see his/her primary health care provider or you do not have a health care provider for your child;

Local health department in Ahoskie has immunization clinics Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am - 4:30pm. Late clinic hours 2nd and 4th Thursday from 5-7pm. 

Health Assessments are offered only on Mondays from 8-4:30pm. Appointments must be made by calling 862 - 4054. 

Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center has a School Based Health Care Clinic at Hertford County Middle School on Tuesdays. Please contact your child’s school nurse for further information if you are interested in your child being seen for immunizations or health assessment at the School Based Health Clinic.
