CHARACTER EDUCATION TRAIT – Good Judgment
April 15, 2019 Board Meeting

BEARFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL – Emerson Johnson
Emerson Johnson is the son of Ashley and Chris Johnson. Emerson shows good judgment by always displaying great leadership traits. He is always very respectful and uses his classroom rules and school expectations as tools to make good decisions.
RIVERVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – Kierstin Myrick
Kierstin Myrick is the daughter of Alicia and Shawn Fennell. Kierstin is a bright student that works hard at making good judgment. Kierstin is very determined to be successful when working on her assignments.
AHOSKIE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – Shy’Asia Boone
Shy’Asia Boone is the daughter of La’Toya Jenkins and Duane Boone. Shy’Asia shows good judgement by staying positive and separating herself from negative behaviors of peers. She works hard in the classroom and sets a great example for her peers.
HERTFORD COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL – Kaitlyn Lassiter
Kaitlyn is the daughter of Joseph (Rebecca) Lassiter and Shannon Lassiter. She is recognized by her instructors and peers as an inspiration and good judgment is evident in her academics and character. Kaitlyn is a self motivated student who credits good judgment in establishing goals.
CS BROWN HIGH SCHOOL – Kenneth Armstrong, Jr.
Kenneth is the son of Phyllis and Kenneth Armstrong Sr. He is an ideal student who is respectful and well disciplined. In spite of all of the peer pressure, he continues to make the best decision.
EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL – Nathan Ward
Nathan is the son of Mr. Shawn and Mrs. Tracy Ward. He has shown his ability to make positive choices both socially and academically. Nathan has grown tremendously as a student and has set goals for himself. His hard work and good judgement are evident through his actions.
HERTFORD COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL – Alasia Jones
Alasia is the daughter of Sheena Jones. The way that Alasia’s character sets her apart and makes her unique. Her character is best exemplified in how her habits, motives, and thoughts relate to morality. Above all, the choices she makes are evident in the way she conducts herself.
