BOARD RECOGNITIONS

CHARACTER EDUCATION TRAIT – Respect

May 20, 2019 Board Meeting

(The certificates will be presented by Mrs. Sheila Porter)

 

BEARFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL –  Mason Palazzolo

Mason is the son of Melinda Myers and Nino Palazzolo. He is a very good friend to his classmates and gets along with everyone. He is always so considerate of their feelings. Mason has always been respectful to his peers, their property, and all of his teachers. 

 

RIVERVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – Amyah Frances

Amyah is the daughter of Ashley Riddick. She is respectful to her teachers and peers. Ashley is a great student academically. She also has an awesome personality. 

 

AHOSKIE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – Makayla Pugh

Makayla is the daughter of Kristi and Hermea Pugh Jr. She is a very helpful and respectful young lady. Makayla stays on task in the classroom and completes tasks without hesitation. She respects her teachers and peers on a daily basis.  

 

HERTFORD COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL – Bricklyn Tripp

Bricklyn is the daughter of Walter “Brick” and Sheila Tripp. She is a very dedicated, determined, and academically focused young lady who always respects her family, instructors, and friends. Bricklyn does what is asked of her without any recourse and supplements her time with meaningful tasks to help others.

 

CS BROWN HIGH SCHOOL – Austin Hill 

Austin is the son of Randy and Julie Hill. Austin is an extremely bright young man, but what sets him apart is his respect and cordial disposition to everyone that he meets. Austin exemplifies the very essence of what it means to value his peers, teachers and other staff members.

 

EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL –  James Schwartz

James is the son of Mr. Scott and Mrs. Agnes Schwartz. He is very quiet and focused on his academics. He is considerate of others feelings and shows respect to both his peers and teachers. James is known for his ability to relate well with others and for lending a helping hand when needed.

 

HERTFORD COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL – Mya Mabine

Mya is the daughter of Kim Futrell and Martinez Mabine.  Cadet Mabine has continued to demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and devotion to the principles of the HCHS JROTC program.  She strives to achieve the best results in all tasks, accepts constructive criticism, and adapts to changes very quickly. These qualities contribute to high respect given her by her peers.  Cadet Mabine leads by example which encourages others to strive to perform all tasks with self confidence and positivity to promote self development.
